Everyone has different experiences after receiving a massage. The most common post-massage “symptoms” may include: drowsiness, dehydration, mild muscle soreness, mild muscle aches and headaches. This is your body responding to the treatment and if you feel any mild discomfort, it will pass with proper at home care. Additionally, most people feel better after leaving.
After a massage, Hydration is key, especially in sunny Florida. Consume electrolyte rich beverages and foods. Rest, alternate ice and heat, take an Epsom salt bath, stretch, practice breathe work, yoga and eat a healthy meal.
Frequent massage is essential for results (just like working out, you can’t just go once and expect major results). We offer weekly, bi-weekly and monthly appointments to help with your chronic conditions and pain.
